Answered Prayers!
Thanks to everyone who has joined us in prayer and have already made pledges towards Semaj's college education. Yesterday she received her student Visa and will be departing on Saturday the 7th!!!!
We have received pledges for over 50% of her first year expenses and are trusting that the Lord will continue to provide for her needs as He has from the beginning. In faith, I believe our Sovereign God has opened this door for her, and it is in His most capable hands. If you would be willing to join Semaj in prayer and/or financial support, please contact me and I will put you on an update e-mail list.
For financial support, please send your name, address, phone number and e-mail addresses along with your check (memo line of their check should say "Semaj Barrett") to: ACWR Child Sponsorship, PO Box 36, Morton, IL 61550, ATTEN: CHERYL W. (note, checks should be payable to ACWR Child Sponsorship)

US Visa, please pray!!!
Semaj Barrett has a 9am interview this morning (Tuesday, Jan 3) for her student Visa. Please pray the Lord's blessing and provision in this matter, and pray that all of us who are emotionally involved can trust the Sovereign one to be in control of this situation, even though past experiences at the US Embassy make me feel like they are only there to kill dreams.
